Publicis Sapient in Bogotá, Colombia, is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to design, build, and deploy enterprise AI solutions. You will work at the intersection of software engineering, AI, and client delivery, partnering with stakeholders to translate business problems into technical outcomes.

You'll leverage RAG, LLMs, and Azure AI services to deliver production-ready AI solutions for clients, focusing on scalable APIs, secure integrations, and cloud-native deployment.

Formación

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java and enterprise application development.
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions.
• Experience building AI-powered applications utilizing LLMs and Generative AI technologies.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, or related Copilot ecosystem technologies.
• Experience leveraging Claude or comparable enterprise LLM platforms.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure, including Azure AI Services, Azure OpenAI, App Services, Functions, Storage, and cloud-native deployment patterns.
• Experience developing and consuming REST APIs and integrating enterprise systems.
• Understanding of prompt engineering, model evaluation, AI governance, and responsible AI practices.
• Familiarity with vector databases, semantic search, document ingestion pipelines, and knowledge management approaches.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and deploy enterprise AI solutions leveraging RAG architectures, LLMs, and AI orchestration frameworks.
• Build client-facing AI applications using Java and modern cloud-native development practices.
• Integrate and optimize AI platforms including Microsoft Copilot, Claude, Azure OpenAI, and other Azure AI services.
• Partner directly with clients to understand business problems, translate requirements into technical solutions, and accelerate delivery.
• Develop scalable APIs, services, and integrations that enable secure and efficient AI-powered experiences.
• Implement vector search, knowledge retrieval, prompt engineering, and grounding strategies to improve AI solution accuracy and performance.
• Support deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement of AI applications in Azure environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, architects, product managers, and domain experts to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Contribute to innovation initiatives, AI accelerators, reusable assets, and best practices that enhance delivery effectiveness.
• Demonstrate a learning mindset by exploring emerging AI technologies and applying them to solve complex business challenges.
