Job summary

LOFTT is hiring a detail-oriented Senior Data Leader to process and review utility data, ensuring accuracy and adherence to standards. You will manage data entry tasks, assist with invoicing, and generate reports while collaborating with billing and onboarding teams.

The role emphasizes independent work, strong communication, and proficiency with spreadsheets and databases. This is a remote position with a focus on timely data delivery and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• BA/BS or combination of education.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in a professional setting.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy at a fast pace.
• Excellent typing accuracy and data entry skills.
• Basic knowledge of data analysis and reporting tools is a plus.
• Must have a minimum of 8,000 ksph (keystrokes per hour).
• Self-motivated and self-directed.
• Ability to see the big picture and importance of this role in the team.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and respond to last-minute requests.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with different teams and stakeholders.
• High integrity and discretion when handling sensitive data.
• Proficiency in data management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Intermediate level skills with Access and/or Excel helpful.
• Physical requirement: prolonged sitting.

Responsibilities

• Data Entry: enter new utility bill information into database accurately.
• Use quality control tools to verify accuracy and correct entries.
• Communicate with billing specialists about out-of-norm invoices.
• Set entry priorities and meet daily/weekly deadlines.
• Troubleshoot and adjust bill copies as needed.
• Collaborate to ensure data consistency and complete entries.
• Onboard new accounts for existing clients.
• Handle special projects like tax exemption and rate changes.
