AgileEngine is seeking a Data Engineer to own ETL pipelines powering analytics for colleges and universities. You design data workflows with SQL, Python, and Airflow, moving data into a cloud data warehouse while keeping code clean.

You will adapt shared pipelines for individual clients, monitor production jobs, diagnose failures, and implement fixes. You’ll write DDL and validation queries and collaborate with analysts.

Formación

• 3–4 years of experience in data engineering or related software role.
• Strong SQL with joins, window functions, and star/schema modeling.
• Hands-on Apache Airflow experience (DAGs, scheduling, troubleshooting).
• Experience with cloud data warehouse design (Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery, Synapse).
• Git/GitLab (or GitHub/Bitbucket) for version control.
• Docker / Docker Compose.
• Ability to translate client and business requirements into SQL and DAG changes.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain ETL pipelines and data workflows across environments.
• Extend data models and datasets to support analytics and reporting needs.
• Adapt shared pipelines for individual clients with clean, reusable code.
• Monitor production pipelines, investigate failures, and deliver fixes promptly.
• Write and maintain database DDL, data validation queries, and deployment scripts.
• Contribute to platform modernization, including infrastructure upgrades.
• Collaborate with client teams, analysts, and stakeholders to gather requirements.
