AgileEngine, a fast-growing software company, is seeking a Data Engineer to own ETL pipelines powering analytics for colleges and universities. You will design and maintain data workflows with SQL, Python, and Apache Airflow, moving data into cloud warehouses and adapting pipelines for clients with clean, reusable code.

Formación

• 3–4 years of data engineering or related software role.
• Proficient SQL with advanced joins, window functions, and star-schema modeling.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Hands-on Apache Airflow experience (DAGs, scheduling, troubleshooting).
• Experience with ETL patterns and cloud data warehouses (Redshift or similar).
• Git-based version control knowledge (GitLab/GitHub).
• Docker / Docker Compose knowledge.
• Understanding of data management concepts.
• Ability to translate client requirements into SQL/config changes.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain ETL pipelines across development, staging, and production environments.
• Extend data models and datasets to support analytics and reporting needs.
• Adapt and customize shared data pipelines for individual clients with clean, reusable code.
• Monitor and support production pipelines, investigate failures, and deliver fixes promptly.
• Write and maintain database DDL, data validation queries, and deployment scripts.
• Contribute to platform modernization initiatives, including infrastructure upgrades and new data technologies.
• Collaborate with client teams, analysts, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
