AgileEngine is seeking a Data Engineer to own ETL pipelines powering analytics for colleges and universities. You will design and maintain data workflows using SQL, Python, and Apache Airflow, moving data into a cloud data warehouse while adapting shared pipelines for individual clients with a focus on clean, reusable code.

The role requires 3–4 years of data engineering experience, strong SQL, and hands-on Airflow.

Formación

• 3-4 years of experience in data engineering or closely related software engineering role.
• Strong SQL with complex joins, window functions, and star-schema modelling.
• Hands-on Apache Airflow experience (DAGs, operators, scheduling, troubleshooting).
• Experience with ETL patterns and cloud data warehouse design (Redshift or similar).
• Git and GitLab for version control.
• Docker / Docker Compose usage.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain ETL pipelines and data workflows across development, staging, and production environments.
• Extend data models and datasets to support analytics and reporting needs.
• Adapt shared pipelines for individual clients while keeping code clean and reusable.
• Monitor production pipelines, investigate failures, and implement fixes quickly.
• Write and maintain database DDL, data validation queries, and deployment scripts.
• Contribute to platform modernization through infra upgrades and new data tech.
• Collaborate with client teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
