AgileEngine is seeking a Data Engineer to own ETL pipelines powering analytics for colleges and universities. You will design and maintain data workflows using SQL, Python, and Apache Airflow, moving data into a cloud data warehouse and adapting pipelines for different clients.

You will collaborate with client teams and analysts, write deployment scripts, and participate in modernization with new data technologies to support scalable, enterprise analytics.

Formación

• 3-4 years of experience in data engineering or related software role.
• Proficient in SQL with complex joins and star-schema modeling.
• Proficient in Python.
• Hands-on Apache Airflow experience (DAGs, operators, scheduling).
• Experience with cloud data warehouses (Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery, Synapse).
• Git/GitLab/GitHub for version control.
• Docker / Docker Compose.
• Data management concepts.
• English: upper-intermediate.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain ETL pipelines across environments (dev, staging, prod).
• Extend data models and datasets to support analytics and reporting.
• Adapt and customize shared pipelines for clients while keeping code clean.
• Monitor production pipelines, investigate failures, and deliver fixes promptly.
• Write and maintain database DDL, data validation queries, and deployment scripts.
• Contribute to platform modernization and adoption of new data tech.
• Collaborate with client teams, analysts, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
