AgileEngine is seeking a Data Engineer to own ETL pipelines powering analytics for colleges and universities. You will design data workflows with SQL, Python, and Apache Airflow, moving data to a cloud data warehouse and adapting shared pipelines for clients while keeping code clean.

You will design, implement, and optimize pipelines, data models, and deployment scripts, collaborating with client teams and stakeholders to deliver scalable analytics solutions.

Formación

• 3-4 years of experience in data engineering or closely related software engineering role.
• Strong SQL with complex joins, window functions, and star-schema modeling.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Hands-on Apache Airflow experience (DAGs, operators, scheduling, troubleshooting).
• Working knowledge of ETL patterns and cloud data warehouse design (Redshift or similar).
• Git and GitLab (or GitHub/Bitbucket) for version control.
• Docker / Docker Compose used in workflows.
• Understanding of data management concepts.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain ETL pipelines and data workflows across environments.
• Extend data models and datasets to support analytics and reporting needs.
• Adapt shared pipelines for clients while keeping code clean and reusable.
• Monitor production pipelines, investigate failures, and deliver fixes quickly.
• Write and maintain database DDL, validation queries, and deployment scripts.
• Contribute to platform modernization, including infra upgrades and new data tech.
• Collaborate with client teams, analysts, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
