AgileEngine is seeking a Data Engineer to own ETL pipelines powering institutional analytics for colleges and universities. You will design and maintain data workflows using SQL, Python, and Apache Airflow, moving data from source systems into a cloud data warehouse.

Formación

• 3-4 years of experience in data engineering or a closely related software engineering role.
• Strong SQL, including complex joins, window functions, and star-schema modeling.
• Hands-on Apache Airflow experience (DAGs, scheduling, troubleshooting).
• Working knowledge of ETL patterns and cloud data warehouse design (Amazon Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery, Synapse).
• Git and GitLab (or GitHub/Bitbucket) for day-to-day version control.
• Docker / Docker Compose.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain ETL pipelines and data workflows across development, staging, production environments.
• Extend data models and datasets to support analytical and reporting needs.
• Adapt and customize shared data pipelines for individual clients while keeping code clean and reusable.
• Monitor production pipelines, investigate failures, and deliver fixes promptly.
• Write and maintain database DDL, data validation queries, and deployment scripts.
• Contribute to platform modernization initiatives including infra upgrades and new data tech.
