Job summary
BairesDev is seeking a Commercial Legal Counsel to support high-volume enterprise client contract reviews, redlining key terms, and coordinating with Sales, Delivery, Security, and Privacy to keep deals moving. This 100% remote role offers USD compensation and a path to growth within a fast-paced AI-enabled tech business.
You will assess risk, triage requests, and help scale contract throughput by refining review processes and using JIRA/Confluence for tracking and audits.
Qualifications
- Law degree and qualification as a lawyer.
- Experience as contract legal counsel with US commercial agreements.
- Background in law firm contract counsel or corporate legal counsel roles.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
Responsibilities
- Review and redline commercial agreements, including MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, and DPAs, quickly and accurately.
- Assess and prioritize contract risk identifying key deviations in liability, indemnities, IP, payment, termination, RTH and non-solicit, audit, and insurance.
- Support contracting for technology and AI-driven services engagements.
- Drive projects and stakeholder alignment across Sales, Delivery, Finance, Security, and Privacy, managing timelines and approvals to remove signature blockers.
- Design and improve review processes through triage criteria, escalation paths, trackers and reporting in JIRA and Confluence, and audit-ready documentation.
