Streamline Property Management is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Staff Accountant for a fully remote position with a US-based company. The role requires hands-on QuickBooks experience and solid understanding of US GAAP, with responsibilities spanning day-to-day bookkeeping, reconciliations, and month-end close.

Applicants should be proficient in English accounting terminology and be able to work US Eastern Time hours.

Qualifications

• Experience in bookkeeping or similar accounting role.
• Hands-on QuickBooks experience.
• Working knowledge of US GAAP.
• Experience with bank reconciliations, month-end closing, journal entries, accruals, and depreciation.
• Ability to understand accounting terminology and financial reports in English.

Responsabilités

• Record, classify, and maintain day-to-day accounting transactions.
• Perform bank and balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Assist with monthly and month-end closing procedures.
• Prepare and record journal entries and adjusting entries.
• Record and manage accruals.
• Calculate and record depreciation expenses for fixed assets.
• Maintain accurate accounting records in QuickBooks.
• Ensure records are consistent with US GAAP.
