Job summary

PeopleBlue LLC is hiring a bilingual Immigration Legal Assistant for a remote, full-time role. You will support attorneys and clients through the immigration process, gathering evidence, completing forms, and compiling organized case PDFs with detailed tables of contents.

The role requires 1+ year of legal experience, fluency in English and Spanish, strong PDF and data-entry skills, and excellent communication. A reliable home workspace is essential.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of Legal Assistant or Paralegal experience (mandatory).
• Fluent English and Spanish with strong written and verbal communication (English C1).
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat, including PDF compilation and pagination.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, with ability to meet deadlines.
• Professional client communication via phone, text, and email.
• Proficiency in MS Office, SharePoint, Google Docs; experience with INSZoom, Docketwise is a plus.
• Full-time availability (40 hours/week) with 8-hour shift between 8:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. EST.

Responsibilities

• Create Spanish evidence lists and request documents from clients via phone, text, and email.
• Maintain proactive client follow-up until all required evidence is received.
• Complete immigration forms and verify imported data for accuracy.
• Organize evidence into case-specific categories (biographic info, residence, tax).
• Prepare case PDFs with inserts, pagination, and final formatting.
• Develop detailed tables of contents listing evidence by category and page numbers.
• Draft documents with minimal errors and apply attorney edits to finalize.
• Keep case records updated in systems like SharePoint, INSZoom, or Docketwise.
