Job summary

World Business Lenders, Llc is seeking an Application Advocate to own the application lifecycle from strategy to adoption. You will coordinate stakeholders, define requirements, manage the backlog, and guide testing, releases, and post-release value realization in a fully remote, multinational environment.

The role emphasizes ensuring the right work is prioritized and delivered, with strong collaboration across technology, business leadership, and users to achieve business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Must be available to work Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Eastern Time.
• Must have a stable internet connection and professional remote working setup.
• Resume must be submitted in English to be considered.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of accountability for the application throughout its lifecycle.
• Maintain its purpose, roadmap, stakeholders, dependencies, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Gather and document user needs, business rules, requirements, and acceptance criteria.
• Maintain the backlog and recommend priorities based on value, urgency, risk, effort, and company objectives.
• Obtain business-sponsor approval for material requirements and policy decisions.
• Coordinate developers, users, vendors, and other contributors.
• Track scope, milestones, dependencies, risks, and decisions.
• Report progress and elevate delays, conflicts, or resource needs.
• Coordinate testing and business acceptance.
• Confirm that documentation, training, support, security, and operational preparations are complete.
• Recommend whether releases are ready to proceed and track post-release issues.
• Coordinate communications, training, and user support.
• Monitor usage, feedback, and achievement of intended business outcomes.
• Identify and address adoption or performance gaps.
• Monitor application performance, incidents, support requests, defects, and recurring problems.
• Recommend priorities for maintenance, technical debt, and enhancements.
• Keep application, support, continuity, and recovery documentation current.
