Omnicom Media LATAM is seeking a Regional Media Billing & Reconciliation Specialist in Bogotá to lead end-to-end media billing and invoice reconciliation. The role partners with multi-market finance teams to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and audit readiness in a fast-paced advertising environment.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in Accounts Payable, Billing, or Finance Operations, with strong Excel skills and experience in MediaOcean or similar ERP systems.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Accounts Payable, Billing, Invoice Reconciliation, or Finance Operations.
• Previous experience in the media, advertising, marketing, or agency environment is highly preferred.
• Hands-on experience managing invoice discrepancies, vendor reconciliations, and billing processes.
• Experience using MediaOcean is strongly preferred.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with ERP or financial systems is a plus.
• Fluency in Spanish is required; English proficiency is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
• Outstanding organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines.
• Self-starter with strong problem-solving abilities and sound business judgment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a regional and multicultural environment.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the end-to-end media billing and invoice reconciliation process, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely processing
• Process accounts payable transactions and vendor invoices using MediaOcean (formerly Donovan Data Systems) and other financial systems
• Review, validate, and reconcile media invoices against purchase orders, contracts, and media plans
• Investigate, track, and resolve invoice discrepancies by collaborating with media teams, vendors, finance, and other internal stakeholders
• Maintain accurate billing, reconciliation, and invoice tracking reports while ensuring proper documentation and audit readiness
• Monitor invoice processing timelines and ensure compliance with internal deadlines and service level agreements (SLAs)
• Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities related to media billing and reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls, company policies, and financial procedures
• Identify opportunities to improve billing, reconciliation, and operational processes through automation and continuous improvement initiatives
• Build strong relationships with internal teams and external vendors to ensure efficient issue resolution and exceptional service
