Fortinet Inc. in Medellin seeks a technical sales professional to support pre-sales and post-sales activities. You will be the main technical resource on sales calls, explaining features and integration, and qualifying leads.

The role requires field sales experience and strong LAN/WAN, wireless, DNS, and security technology knowledge. Experience with encryption and networking protocols is essential. Fortinet values expertise in RADIUS, PKI, IPSEC, and related technologies; CCIE or CISSP

Formación

• Field sales experience.
• Experience in technical/pre-sales support as a sales or systems engineer.
• Experience in LAN/WAN/Internet services administration.
• Experience with Wireless technologies, deploying, supporting and doing site surveys.
• Solid understanding of Wireless Authentication technologies.
• Excellent knowledge of DNS, NFS, SMTP, HTTP, and TCP/IP.
• Knowledge of Routing, Switching, VPN, LAN, WAN, Network Security, IDS and Anti-Virus.
• Familiarity with RADIUS, PKI, IKE, Certificates, L2TP, IPSEC, Firewall, 802.1Q, MD5, SSH, SSL, SHA1, DES, 3DES.
• Experience with encryption and authentication technologies.

Responsabilidades

• Pre-sales - assistance in qualifying sales leads from a technical standpoint.
• Sales calls - be the main technical resource on sales calls and answer/ educate the customer on issues ranging from features, specifications and functionality to integration.
• Conversant with networking applications and solutions.
• Post-sales - lead technical contact for identified accounts for technical issues with support and engineering.
• Provide assistance to identify customers with post-sales training.
