Axon in Bogotá, Colombia is seeking a high-energy pre-sales sales engineer to accelerate sales initiatives in the Latin America region. You will master Axon technologies, present to leadership and end-users, engage CIOs and partners, coordinate POC tests, and help craft proposals and SOWs.

Travel up to 70% across South and Central America will be required. Ideal candidates have 4+ years in pre-sales or consulting, experience with SaaS solutions, and strong technical writing and presentation

Formación

• Associates degree in Engineering or Computer Science (or equivalent)
• 4+ years customer-facing pre-sales or consulting experience
• 3+ years experience with public procurement in Latin America
• Experience selling SaaS-based solutions
• Experience in End User Compute or Cloud Computing preferred
• Experience in networking, storage, virtualization, or related technologies
• Strong technical writing and presentation skills
• Basic knowledge of security, IPsec, InfoSec concepts
• Ability to work independently with latitude for action
• Willingness to travel

Responsabilidades

• Achieve mastery of all Axon technologies/products
• Lead business and technical presentations for leadership and end-users
• Discuss technical needs with CIOs and channel partners
• Set expectations with customers and team members
• Provide 1st-level technical pre-sales support for opportunities
• Develop relationships with key partners for growth
• Position Axon technologies against competitors
• Represent products and brand at events and conferences
• Coordinate POC/Pilot logistics and customer configuration
• Draft and refine Statements of Work (SOW) for services
• Contribute to technical documentation and roadmaps
• Support cross-functional teams with customer feedback
