Job summary

AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Platform Engineer to design and scale core infrastructure that supports rapid company growth. You will manage cloud resources on AWS and Kubernetes, collaborate with engineering and data science teams, and contribute to secure, performant systems.

The role emphasizes distributed architecture, AI-native tooling, and ownership mindset, with a mix of remote and office work in a growth-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of server development in Python or TypeScript.
• 1+ year API design and REST/gRPC development.
• 1+ year AWS and Kubernetes experience with service mesh tech.
• 1+ year building advanced architectural components (service registry, streaming, distributed caching).
• 6+ months working with LLMs, prompt engineering, or AIOps tooling.
• 6+ months SDLC AI-native usage (Claude Code/Claude Cowork).
• Excellent communication skills and ownership.
• Upper-intermediate English.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Platform Engineer to build and scale core infrastructure that supports rapid company growth. This person designs reliable platform services, manages cloud resources on AWS and Kubernetes, and works closely with engineering and data science teams to keep systems performant and secure. Comfort with distributed architecture and AI-native tooling matters here.

MUST HAVES

• 3+ years of server development in Python or TypeScript.
• 1+ year of experience with API design and development using REST/gRPC.
• 1+ year of experience with AWS and Kubernetes, including experience with Service Mesh technologies such as Istio, Linkerd, Cilium, or similar.
• 1+ year of experience building advanced architectural components such as service registry, streaming, event bus, distributed caching, federated/polyglot persistence, etc.
• 6+ months of experience working with LLMs, prompt engineering, harness engineering, or AIOps tooling.
• 6+ months of SDLC AI-native usage via Claude Code, Claude Cowork, or similar.
• Excellent communication skills, the ability to learn on the fly, and a desire for ownership.
• Upper-intermediate English level.
