Job summary

AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Platform Engineer to build and scale core infrastructure that supports rapid growth.

You will design reliable platform services, manage cloud resources on AWS and Kubernetes, and collaborate with engineering and data science teams to keep systems performant and secure. You will work with distributed architectures and AI-native tooling, with an emphasis on ownership and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of server development in Python or TypeScript.
• 1+ year of API design and development using REST/gRPC.
• 1+ year of experience with AWS and Kubernetes, including Service Mesh tech such as Istio/Linkerd/Cilium.
• 1+ year building architectural components like service registry, streaming, event bus, distributed caching, polyglot persistence.
• 6+ months of experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, or AIOps tooling.
• 6+ months of SDLC AI-native usage via Claude Code/Claude Cowork or similar.
• Excellent communication skills and ownership mindset.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

Responsibilities

• Measure, monitor, and optimize system performance and bottlenecks.
• Manage cloud resources and service boundaries with a focus on security and reliability.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Platform Engineer to build and scale core infrastructure that supports rapid company growth. This person designs reliable platform services, manages cloud resources on AWS and Kubernetes, and works closely with engineering and data science teams to keep systems performant and secure. Comfort with distributed architecture and AI-native tooling matters here.

MUST HAVES

• 3+ years of server development in Python or TypeScript.
• 1+ year of experience with API design and development using REST/gRPC.
• 1+ year of experience with AWS and Kubernetes, including experience with Service Mesh technologies such as Istio, Linkerd, Cilium, or similar.
• 1+ year of experience building advanced architectural components such as service registry, streaming, event bus, distributed caching, federated/polyglot persistence, etc.
• 6+ months of experience working with LLMs, prompt engineering, harness engineering, or AIOps tooling.
• 6+ months of SDLC AI-native usage via Claude Code, Claude Cowork, or similar.
• Excellent communication skills, the ability to learn on the fly, and a desire for ownership.
• Upper-intermediate English level.
