Darwin Recruitment is seeking a Sales Manager - Photonics to drive revenue across North America. You will develop strategic accounts, align customer needs with product development, and lead opportunities from prospecting through close.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in technical sales within photonics or related high-tech fields, with strong negotiation skills and the ability to communicate complex solutions to engineering and executive stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Business or related field.
• 5+ years of technical sales or business development in photonics/optics/semiconductors.
• Proven track record of growing strategic customer accounts.
• Experience selling complex technical products to OEMs, hyperscalers, telecom or datacom.
• Willingness to travel across North America.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to grow revenue with key accounts.
• Identify and close new business opportunities with OEMs, system integrators, and partners.
• Manage full sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiation and close.
• Build long-term relationships as a trusted technical and commercial partner.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to align customer needs with roadmap.
• Represent the company at industry events and client meetings.
• Maintain accurate forecasts and CRM activity.
