Job summary

Provana is seeking a Paralegal to support attorneys in managing personal injury cases from intake through resolution. You will handle case investigation, medical records management, document preparation, and client communication, ensuring efficient progression of matters.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Paralegal Studies or Law with 2–4 years of relevant experience, and possess strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies, Law, or related field (or equivalent).
• 2–4 years of Paralegal experience, preferably in personal injury or litigation.
• Solid understanding of personal injury law, case lifecycle, insurance claims, and litigation procedures.
• Experience handling medical records, accident reports, and settlement documentation.
• Proficiency with legal research tools, electronic filing, and Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with case management software is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; able to manage multiple deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, especially with clients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal and factual research related to personal injury matters, including liability, damages, and negligence.
• Draft, review, and file legal documents such as pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and settlement demands.
• Maintain and organize electronic and physical case files, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
• Communicate with clients, insurance adjusters, medical providers, court personnel, and opposing counsel to coordinate case activities.
• Assist attorneys in preparing for depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials, including managing exhibits and witness materials.
• Monitor case progress and provide status updates to attorneys and clients.
• Contribute to team meetings and process improvements to enhance case management efficiency.
