MICHAEL PAGE INTERNATIONAL seeks a Payroll Specialist in Bogotá to manage biweekly payroll, perform audits, and handle garnishments. You will enter and maintain payroll data in Workday and ADP, ensuring accurate deductions and timely processing.

Responsibilities include end-to-end payroll tasks, generating reports for allocation/billing, and supporting new-hire payroll topics. A B2 level English need applies; 1-year fixed-term contract is noted in responsibilities.

Formación

• Extensive knowledge of payroll and applicable laws.

Responsabilidades

The Payroll Specialist will process biweekly payroll, perform payroll audits, process garnishments, and other payroll associated duties as assigned.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Enters, maintains, and/or processes information in the payroll system; information may include employees’ hourly rates, salaries, commissions, bonuses or other compensation, time worked, paid leave and holidays, deductions and withholding, and other information.
• End to end payroll processing using Workday and ADP
• Ensures proper processing of payroll deductions for taxes, benefits, and other deductions.
• Audits payroll using reporting from Workday.
• Issues, or reissues, physical or replacement checks or direct deposits due to payroll errors or final discharge.
• Enter and maintain wage garnishments using ADP.
• Assists with new-hire orientations to discuss payroll topics.
• Assists with distribution of materials related to payroll changes.
• Provides necessary reports for allocation/billing charges.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn payroll software.

Education and Experience

• Associate’s degree in Accounting/Human Resources or related field, but experience and/or other training/certification may be substituted for the education.
• A minimum of three years of experience in payroll preferred.
• Salary: COP 6,500,000 – COP 7,500,000, depending on experience.
• Contract Type: 1-year fixed-term contract.

• A B2 level of English is mandatory. Candidates must demonstrate strong English communication skills.
