Qualifications

• Fluency with Terraform and IaC practices.
• Proven track record auditing CI/CD pipelines and SDLC governance.
• Strong data engineering depth for ETL/ingestion architecture.
• Experience evaluating AI-assisted development workflows (Claude Code).
• Part-time advisory capacity with mentoring ability.

Responsibilities

• Audit AWS architecture across live applications including ECS/ECR, RDS, S3, VPC, CloudFront, and SageMaker pipelines.
• Review CI/CD process and SDLC governance with environment separation and release gating.
• Evaluate Claude Code usage for output quality and cost governance.
• Provide opinions on ETL/data-ingestion architecture (managed vs custom).
• Mentor the day-to-day infrastructure build team focusing on AWS and DevOps.
• Set recommendations and technical direction from audit findings.
• Report findings to leadership with risk framing.
