EPAM Systems in Colombia seeks a Lead Data Software Engineer (Python+AWS) to drive the design and development of scalable data solutions. You will mentor team members and lead technical initiatives, delivering robust data engineering systems leveraging cloud and big data technologies.

Responsibilities include leading data engineering design, building scalable pipelines, collaborating across teams to define requirements, mentoring engineers, and ensuring code quality.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in data software engineering.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Background in Databricks.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the design and development of data engineering solutions.
• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and processing workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and define technical requirements.
• Mentor and guide engineers across the team.
• Ensure code quality through reviews and best practices.
• Optimize performance and reliability of data platforms.
• Drive architectural decisions and technical roadmaps.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex data and infrastructure issues.
• Communicate progress and technical concepts to stakeholders.
