BRTS TRUCKING LLC in Bogotá is seeking a Dispatcher for a full-time, on-site role under a freelance US contract. You will coordinate daily truck routes, assign loads to drivers, and monitor progress to ensure on-time pickups and deliveries.

This position requires strong organizational and communication skills, familiarity with dispatch software, and the ability to work under pressure while ensuring safety and compliance. Spanish proficiency is required; English is an advantage.

• Effective verbal and written communication with drivers, customers, and internal teams.
• Ability to use dispatch or logistics software, basic computer applications, and digital communication tools.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving for handling route changes, delays, and unexpected issues.
• Knowledge of transportation or trucking operations, local and regional routes, and basic safety practices.
• Ability to work on-site in Bogotá, manage high-pressure situations, and make quick, sound decisions.
• Previous experience in dispatching, logistics coordination, or related fields is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in logistics, business, or transportation is a plus.
• Proficiency in Spanish; English skills are an advantage for communicating with international contacts.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate daily truck routes and assign loads to drivers.
• Monitor trip progress to ensure on-time pickups and deliveries.
• Maintain accurate records, update dispatch software, and verify driver compliance with policies and safety regulations.
• Communicate with drivers, customers, and internal teams to resolve scheduling conflicts and address road issues.
• Assist with basic administrative tasks, handling documentation, and supporting overall logistics planning.
