Brilliant Computers in Bogotá, Colombia is seeking a Network Support Engineer to maintain and troubleshoot the organization’s network infrastructure, ensuring reliability, performance, and availability of services. You will help with day-to-day operations and work with IT teams on incidents and projects.

The ideal candidate has 1–5 years of experience, strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, and Cisco equipment, plus familiarity with monitoring tools and ticketing systems.

Formación

• 1–5 years experience in network support or a similar role.
• Understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, DNS, and DHCP.
• Experience with Cisco or similar networking equipment.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools and ticketing systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA or CompTIA Network+ are an advantage.
• Basic understanding of Windows server environments and Active Directory is an advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Provide first and second-level support for network-related incidents and service requests.
• Troubleshoot issues related to IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and network routing.
• Configure and support routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Monitor network performance and respond to alerts or outages.
• Maintain ticket updates and documentation for all reported incidents.
• Work with internal IT teams to resolve complex issues.
• Assist with network maintenance, upgrades, and implementation projects.
• Ensure timely communication on issue status and resolution.
