Job summary

Bush & Bush Law Group is seeking a motivated Litigation Assistant to support attorneys and paralegals in a busy personal injury practice. The role centers on organizing files, drafting documents, handling discovery, managing calendars, and communicating with clients.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in law or a related field, has experience in a Personal Injury firm, and can work well in a fast-paced team. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic legal research is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Law or related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience in a Personal Injury Law Firm; US law firm experience is a strong plus.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Document Preparation: Draft and prepare legal documents such as pleadings, discovery requests, and correspondence.
• Case File Management: Organize and maintain case files with accurate filing and easy access to documents.
• Discovery Support: Gather and summarize evidence, manage discovery responses, and prepare discovery binders.
• Calendar Management: Track deadlines, appointments, and hearings and communicate timelines to the team.
• Client Communication: Serve as a point of contact and provide updates on case progression.
• Trial Preparation: Prepare materials for trial, including exhibits and trial binders.
• Legal Research: Conduct basic research and summarize findings for attorneys.
