Bush & Bush Law Group is seeking a motivated Litigation Assistant to support our team in personal injury and employment law matters. You will organize case files, draft documents, and help prepare for trials under attorney supervision.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in law or related field, experience in a U.S. legal environment, and strong communication and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifikationen

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Law or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience: Prior experience in a U.S. legal environment required. Employment law is a strong plus.
• Skills: Strong organizational, detail-oriented, and multitasking abilities.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication with a customer-service oriented approach.
• Technical: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with legal research databases.

Aufgaben

• Document Preparation: Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, and correspondence.
• Case File Management: Organize and maintain case files, ensuring documents are filed and accessible
• Discovery Support: Manage discovery by gathering and summarizing evidence, organizing responses, and creating discovery binders
• Calendar Management: Maintain case calendars, track deadlines, appointments, and hearings
• Client Communication: Serve as a point of contact for clients, provide updates on case progress
• Trial Preparation: Prepare materials for trial, including exhibits and trial binders
• Research Assistance: Conduct basic legal research and summarize findings for attorneys
