Job summary

Execviva seeks a Link Building Specialist & Digital PR to elevate Viva’s visibility through stories journalists care about. You will build journalist relationships, pitch compelling ideas, and earn media coverage and quality backlinks that strengthen Viva’s presence in Google and AI answers.

Location: LATAM (Remote). Responsibilities include managing backlink pipelines, monitoring quality, and coordinating with our SEO & AEO Manager to measure impact and secure placements across credible outlets.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in Link Building, SEO Outreach or Digital PR.
• Proven experience researching journalists and securing media coverage.
• Strong off-page SEO and backlink strategy.
• Existing editor and journalist relationships.
• Able to track campaigns and report results.
• Excellent written and spoken English (C1+).
• Experience using AI to find targets and craft pitches.

Responsibilities

• Own the backlink pipeline end to end: identify sites and journalists, outreach, follow ups, placements, and track results.
• Monitor backlink profile and placement quality; coordinate cleanup when needed.
• Track placements, backlinks, citations, and authority metrics; report with SEO & AEO Manager.
• Get Viva mentioned in sources AI answers cite.
• Set up and grow Viva's profiles on review sites.
• Manage a monthly budget for paid placements with editorial standards.
• Plan and run digital PR campaigns pitching timely stories to journalists.

Help potential customers discover Viva through stories they care about. You’ll build journalist relationships, pitch compelling ideas, and earn media coverage and quality backlinks that strengthen Viva’s visibility in Google and AI answers.

Why we’re opening this role

Search authority takes time to build, and Viva needs a consistent in-house program. Today, backlink work sits with an external agency. You’ll establish our digital PR and link-building program, earn relevant media coverage and quality backlinks, and measure its impact on organic and AI search with our SEO & AEO Manager.

Location: LATAM (Remote)

Responsibilities

1. Own the backlink pipeline from end to end: identify relevant sites and journalists, personalize outreach, follow up, secure placements, and track results. Focus links on the pages we want to rank, not only the homepage.

2. Monitor Viva’s backlink profile and placement quality, identify links that may harm our authority, and coordinate cleanup when needed.

3. Track placements, backlinks, citations, and authority metrics. Share progress, insights, and next steps with our SEO & AEO Manager.

4. Get Viva mentioned in the sources that AI answers cite, such as industry lists, comparison articles, and trusted publications.

5. Set up and grow Viva's profiles on review sites.

6. Manage a monthly budget for paid placements, and choose only sites with real readers and editorial standards.

7. Plan and run digital PR campaigns that pitch timely, relevant stories to journalists, editors, and publications our buyers read.

8. Build and maintain relationships with journalists, editors, publishers, and website owners to earn relevant media coverage, brand mentions, and editorial backlinks.

Requirements

1. Relevant experience: 3–5 years in similar roles, such as Link Building Specialist, SEO Outreach Specialist, or Digital PR Specialist. or 5+ years working in SEO. B2B experience is a strong plus.

2. Digital PR and outreach: Experience researching journalists and publications, writing personalized pitches, and earning media coverage or backlinks.

3. Link building and off-page SEO: Understanding of what makes a backlink relevant and valuable, and experience managing outreach, follow-ups, and placement quality.

4. Relationships and a seller mindset: You already have a network of editors, journalists, and publishers you can reach. You know how to pitch an idea and get a yes, and you manage many outreach threads with care and consistency.

5. Measurement: Comfortable tracking campaign results and explaining what is working, what is not, and what to try next.

6. Exceptional communication: C1+ English proficiency, with clear, confident, concise, and engaging written and verbal communication.

7. AI and automation: Experience using AI to find targets, research journalists, and draft pitches, with the judgment to personalize and quality-check every message.
