Job summary

ScotiaGBS in Bogota, Colombia, is seeking a Benefits and Leave Experience Advisor to process employee leave changes and resolve escalations. The role supports HR systems updates and leaves lifecycle management, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with Bank policies.

You will work within a team, handling inquiries, generating routine reports, and identifying process improvements while maintaining attention to detail and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
• Advanced English proficiency (B2–C1) both spoken and written.
• Experience in customer service or contact center environments.
• Knowledge of employee benefits and payroll cycles.
• Knowledge of Bank policies and organizational structure.
• Strong teamwork and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Promotes a customer-focused culture leveraging the Bank’s relationships and knowledge.
• Enters/processes changes to employee leave status in HR systems.
• Ensures accuracy and integrity of employee record data.
• Responds to inquiries and escalations related to employee leave events.
• Produces daily/weekly reports to assess performance against SLAs.
• Identifies operational improvement opportunities and proposes recommendations.
• Understands and applies the Bank’s risk appetite and controls.
• Ensures compliance with operational risk and AML/ATF controls.
