EPAM Systems, Inc. seeks a Lead Python Developer with AWS expertise to drive Treasury technology initiatives. You will lead backend engineering, define scalable microservices architectures, and unify data models from diverse sources.

You will mentor engineers across levels, own architectural decisions, and shape technical direction for high-stakes financial applications. Responsibilities include designing API gateways, implementing REST APIs, and ensuring performance, security, and scalability.

Formación

• 5+ years of Python development experience.
• At least 1 year in a leadership role.
• Deep proficiency in FastAPI, Django, and Flask.
• Strong microservices, API gateways & inter-service comms.
• Experience integrating data from multiple formats (xlsx, pdf, csv, json).
• Mentoring engineers; setting performance & career goals.
• Shell scripting (Bash) and Linux OS fundamentals.
• AWS, GitHub Actions, REST API development experience.
• Test automation and robust unit testing practices.
• Experience leading agile teams on complex apps.
• Excellent English communication (B2+).
• Familiarity with Dagster, Kubernetes, Pandas, dbt is a plus.
