EPAM Systems in Colombia is seeking a Senior/Lead AI Engineer to design, build, and scale end-to-end AI applications, including chatbots and LLM-driven solutions, delivering production-grade systems with business impact.

You will work with clients, drive technical decisions, and lead initiatives across AI/ML, vector databases, and MLOps, ensuring security, performance, and cost-efficiency while staying current with emerging AI protocols.

Formación

• 5+ years in AI/ML engineering with production-grade delivery experience.
• Strong programming skills in Python/Java/Scala.
• Hands-on with LLM platforms and agentic frameworks.
• Experience with vector databases and retrieval systems.
• Knowledge of MLOps/AIOps, monitoring and security.

Responsabilidades

• Design and deploy AI/LLM applications at scale (RAG, agentic systems).
• Architect solutions using agentic frameworks and vector DBs.
• Build APIs, data pipelines, and enterprise integrations.
• Evaluate AI performance with LLM-based metrics and A/B testing.
• Ensure performance, security, observability, and cost-efficiency.
• Conduct rapid prototyping to validate feasibility and business value.
• Stay current with AI protocols (MCP, A2A, ACP).
