Werben HR is seeking a Senior AI Engineer focused on LLM applications and Agentic AI. You will design and deliver production-grade AI capabilities, leveraging LLMs, tool calling, and multi-step orchestration to power conversational experiences and intelligent workflows.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in production AI and strong Python software engineering, with experience implementing MCP servers and AWS-based solutions for scalable systems. Remote LATAM work is available.

Formación

• 5+ years of professional experience building production AI applications.
• Strong Python and software engineering practices for production.
• Hands-on experience with LLM-powered apps and agentic AI patterns.
• Experience integrating LLM APIs (OpenAI/Anthropic) into production.
• Prompt engineering, versioning, fallback strategies, and cost optimization.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain MCP servers, tool definitions, and context management capabilities.
• Develop AI-powered workflows using LLMs, tool calling, and multi-step orchestration.
• Implement intent classification, evaluation, and routing workflows.
• Integrate OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, and other hosted LLM APIs into production apps.
• Maintain prompt engineering strategies and optimize LLM performance and cost.
