Job summary

WSP en Colombia is seeking a senior software engineer to lead the design and deployment of scalable AI-enabled platforms in a Colombian context. You will build backend APIs and cloud-native components, integrate LLMs and NLP into production systems, and help shape knowledge-driven pipelines and data integration.

The role emphasizes collaboration with analytics, data science, and product teams, ensuring secure, maintainable code, and supporting CI/CD and DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in professional software development.
• 2+ years leading the design, deployment, and scaling of LLM-based or agentic AI systems in production.
• End-to-end AI architectures including data ingestion, retrieval, reasoning, and user-facing apps.
• Strong experience with LLM workflows: prompts, evaluation, orchestration, tool integration.
• Hands-on with embeddings, vector search, and RAG pipelines, with focus on performance.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable full‑stack apps integrating AI and data capabilities.
• Develop backend APIs and cloud‑native components for scalable data workflows.
• Integrate LLMs, agentic workflows, and NLP techniques into production systems.
• Contribute to knowledge-based and data-driven platform design and evolution.
