Job summary

HarbourVest Partners, LLC is seeking an Investor Relations associate in Bogotá to support the LatAm IR team. The role collaborates with product specialists, consultants, and marketing to deliver HarbourVest solutions to institutional investors.

The ideal candidate has a finance background, strong communication, and client-service mindset. You will manage client onboarding, data integrity, and coordination of investor materials while working in a hybrid environment with regional travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to quality work and prompt detail-oriented delivery.
• Experience with RFPs and communications to institutional investors is a plus.
• Comfortable in a financial environment discussing fund performance.

Responsibilities

• Assist IR team in developing account plans for existing clients and prospective investors.
• Analyze target institutions and investor trends; identify prospective clients for engagement.
• Research high-value client opportunities and build focused travel agendas for account managers.
• Produce periodic strategy updates and briefing materials for investor engagements.
• Coordinate and create presentations for investor meetings and due diligence sessions.
• Maintain CRM data in Salesforce and support IR day-to-day activities.
• Coordinate fundraising-related information requests and ensure high-quality responses.
• Serve as the onboarding contact for clients and oversee internal execution.
