Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to operate and improve a Kubernetes-based API platform across public and private clouds, with emphasis on automation, tooling, and incident management. You will maintain observability, respond to incidents end-to-end, onboard new clients, and build automation to reduce manual toil while scaling the platform for demand.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on experience operating Kubernetes in production.
• Strong Linux and command line fundamentals.
• Experience with a public cloud provider, preferably Azure or AWS.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the Kubernetes-based platform across public and private cloud environments.
• Work with observability tooling and up-to-date runbooks/documentation.
• Manage incidents end-to-end, including root cause analysis and post-incident reviews.
• Onboard and support new clients onto the platform.
• Build automation and diagnostic tooling to reduce manual effort.
• Identify and deliver process improvements.
• Support software and hardware upgrades and keep components up to date.
• Proactively manage capacity to scale the platform with demand.
