Hyland seeks an experienced IT Project Manager in Colombia to partner with I&O teams, organize complex infrastructure work, and drive Agile practices. You will ensure work aligns with roadmaps and business needs, acting as a servant leader to keep teams focused and delivering value.

The role requires cloud and data center migration experience, Jira planning, and strong English communication across global teams. A CS M/PSM I certification is preferred; this is not an entry-level role.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a relevant field.
• Strong experience in Agile environments with a first-level Scrum Master certification (CSM or PSM I).
• Experience leading cloud and infrastructure migration projects; familiarity with cloud environments, data centers, virtualization, and monitoring/observability solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication; ability to collaborate across global, multi-cultural teams and time zones.
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skills with professional integrity.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and facilitate Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog refinement, standups, retrospectives, reviews) to keep teams organized and delivering value.
• Manage infrastructure-focused projects including cloud and data center migrations using strong PM and Agile practices.
• Plan, track, and organize work in Jira with clear backlogs, dependencies, risks, and documentation.
• Partner with technical teams to support cloud migrations, virtualization, monitoring, server, storage, and data center technologies.
• Act as a connector between infrastructure teams and the business across departments (Cyber Security, Compliance, R&D, Sales, Services, Technical Support).
• Promote continuous improvement and transparency through clear reporting on workload drivers, incidents, disruptions, and team capacity.

Overview

The IT Project Manager is an experienced, hands‑on project manager who partners closely with enterprise Infrastructure & Operations (I&O) teams to organize complex infrastructure work, run Agile ceremonies, and keep teams aligned, focused, and connected to business needs. This role applies a servant leadership mindset — helping teams operate more effectively while ensuring work is well‑organized, visible, and aligned with infrastructure roadmaps and operational priorities. This is not a junior role, nor a people leadership position.

Your Role Responsibilities? Here's What You'll Do.

• Lead and facilitate Agile ceremonies — including sprint planning, backlog refinement, stand‑ups, retrospectives, and reviews — to keep teams organized, focused, and delivering value.
• Manage infrastructure‑focused projects, including cloud and data center migrations, using strong project management and Agile practices.
• Plan, track, and organize work in Jira, ensuring clear backlogs, dependencies, risks, and documentation.
• Partner with technical teams to support initiatives involving cloud migrations, virtualization, monitoring/observability, server, storage, and data center technologies.
• Act as a connector between infrastructure teams and the business, collaborating across departments including Cyber Security, Compliance, R&D, Sales, Services, and Technical Support.
• Promote continuous improvement, reduce distractions, and improve transparency through clear reporting on workload drivers, incidents, disruptions, and team capacity.

Role Essentials

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, with demonstrated IT project management experiencesupporting infrastructure or operations teams.
• Strong experience working in Agile environments, with a first‑level Scrum Master certification (CSM or PSM I).
• Experience leading or contributing to cloud and infrastructure migration projects , with familiarity with cloud environments, data centers, virtualization platforms, and monitoring/observability solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with a proven ability to collaborate across global, multi‑cultural teams and time zones.
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and problem‑solving skills with a high level of professionalism, integrity, and accountability.

What We'd Like to See (Preferred Skills)

• Experience with data center infrastructure teams and technologies (cloud and physical).
• Experience creating executive‑level reporting for infrastructure and operational teams.
• Prior experience working with globally distributed teams across multiple time zones.
• Familiarity with adapted Agile delivery approaches, such as Scrumban.
• Strong facilitation skills and comfort influencing without formal authority.
• Familiarity with AI‑enabled solutions to share insights and improve information flow across teams and stakeholders.
