Medtronic in Bogotá seeks a Project Coordinator/Manager for IT environments to support planning, coordination, documentation, and reporting of projects.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, 3 years in IT project coordination, strong IT systems knowledge, proficiency with MS Project, Jira, Confluence and Trello, and excellent English communication. You will manage multiple projects, engage stakeholders, and help drive Risk and Compliance aligned delivery.

• Strong understanding of IT systems, compliance frameworks and risk management.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in defining project scope, objectives, timelines and deliverables with IT leadership.
• Coordinate activities and track progress across IT, business stakeholders and vendors.
• Maintain project documentation including schedules, notes and risk logs.
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders on progress, risks and dependencies.
• Consolidate finance input, forecast updates and budget reporting.
• Support identification and mitigation of project risks with compliance and risk teams.
• Ensure milestones are met by coordinating resources and monitoring tasks.

A Day in the Life

Responsibilities may include the following:

• Project Planning: Assist in defining project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with IT leadership
• Coordination: Organize and track project activities, ensuring alignment between IT, business stakeholders, and external vendors
• Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation including schedules, meeting notes, risk logs, and status reports
• Communication: Facilitate regular updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency on progress, risks, and dependencies
• Financial Reporting: Consolidate input from finance on actual project spend, update of financial forecast, and reporting of project budget status.
• Risk Management: Support identification and mitigation of project risks in collaboration with compliance and risk teams
• Support Delivery: Ensure project milestones are met by coordinating resources and monitoring task completion

Required Knowledge:

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Business Administration, or related field
• 3 years of experience in project coordination or project management within IT environments
• Strong understanding of IT systems, compliance frameworks, and risk management processes
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Confluence, Trello)
• Stakeholder management experience
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
