Job summary

Monks, a global digital-first agency, is seeking an Intercompany Accountant to manage and reconcile intercompany transactions across entities. You will support month-end close, audits, and transfer pricing compliance while collaborating with local and regional finance teams.

The role requires 2–4 years in intercompany accounting, strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS, and experience with SAP/Oracle/NetSuite. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in accounting or intercompany processes.
• Solid understanding of GAAP/IFRS.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
• Detail-oriented with ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process and reconcile intercompany transactions, invoices, and balances across all entities.
• Monitor intercompany accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting policies (GAAP/IFRS).
• Collaborate with regional and local finance teams to resolve discrepancies and mismatches in intercompany balances.
• Support month-end and year-end close by preparing intercompany reconciliations, journals, and reports.
• Ensure intercompany charges (management fees, cross-charges, cost allocations, etc.) are processed on time and accurately.
• Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and provide required documentation for internal and external auditors.
• Maintain intercompany agreements and ensure compliance with transfer pricing policies and tax regulations.
• Identify process improvements and propose automation opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Generate periodic reports on intercompany balances, settlements, and outstanding items.
