Job summary

Empresaconfidencial is seeking a Senior Accountant to support key R2R activities, ensure accurate financial reporting, and maintain strong controls in a multinational context. The role partners with local and global Finance teams and drives process standardization and improvement.

The candidate will manage close processes, prepare journal entries, ensure IFRS/US GAAP compliance, assist with statutory reporting and audits, and contribute to ERP optimization across markets.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of post-qualification experience in financial accounting, audit, or shared services.
• Experience with financial close, reconciliations, statutory accounting, intercompany processes, and audits.
• Experience with multinational entities, multicurrency accounting, or complex group structures.
• Exposure to SOX environments is desirable.
• Big 4 or Top 10 accounting firm experience is strongly preferred.
• Business English proficiency, B2-C1 level.

Responsibilities

• Execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities across assigned accounts and trial balances.
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, provisions, adjustments, and complex balance sheet reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with global accounting policies, IFRS/US GAAP, statutory requirements, and internal controls.
• Support statutory reporting, tax compliance, external audits, and SOX-related activities.
• Manage and resolve accounting issues, including intercompany and outstanding reconciliation items.
• Collaborate with FP&A, regional Finance teams, and operational stakeholders across different markets.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, standardization, automation, and ERP optimization.
