Job summary

Empresaconfidencial is seeking a Financial Accountant to ensure accurate financial records under IFRS and/or US GAAP. The role supports month-end close, reporting, and cross-functional collaborations with global teams.

Ideal candidates will be analytically minded with strong problem-solving skills, business English proficiency, and experience with ERP systems. A Bachelor’s in accounting/finance and professional qualifications are valued.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Business English proficiency (written and spoken) is mandatory.
• Pursuing internationally recognized qualifications (ACA/ACCA/CPA/CIMA) is encouraged.
• AAT qualification acceptable with relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review IFRS and/or US GAAP financial statements and reports.
• Execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledgers for completeness and accuracy.
• Support internal and external audits with documentation and explanations.
• Perform financial analysis, variance analysis, and data validation for reporting and forecasting.
• Handle large data sets to extract insights and resolve discrepancies.
• Collaborate across cross-functional and regional teams to ensure data integrity.
• Assist process improvements and automation initiatives within finance.
