Kuehne+Nagel is hiring an Operations Specialist in Bogotá to coordinate and plan customer orders and shipments while handling inquiries and improving service delivery. The role requires a background in international logistics, strong planning skills, and a proactive approach to problem solving.

As part of a global leader in logistics, you will support SOPs, collaborate with multiple stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement within the 4PL shared services model.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in International Business or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in Air, Sea or Road transportation.
• Desirable experience with 4PL model and operational planning/customer service.
• Advanced English language skills.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and manage Ops Specialist activities within the Bogota LCC, including supervision of Ops Supervisors.
• Execute SOPs and WIs, uphold customer service standards and SLAs for all clients.
• Collaborate with IT, procurement, quality, and regional/global LCCs to resolve business issues.
• Maintain timely escalation reporting to decision makers.
• Provide training support and back up for IL Operations Specialist on existing and new scopes.
• Conduct quality audits related to general and client-specific programs, including GxP.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity using root cause analysis and data insights.

The Ops Specialist role is responsible for coordinating and planning customer orders and shipments, while managing inquiries about visibility, complaints, and ad hoc requests. The candidate will ensure customer satisfaction, collaborate with multiple stakeholders and develop expertise in 4PL shared services, execute processes based on WI’s and SOP’s, and identify opportunities for improvement.

How you create impact

• Manage activities related to the Ops Specialist function within the Bogota LCC; Accomplished by direct-line management of Ops Supervisors;

• SOP (Standard Operations Procedure) and WI (Work Instruction) execution, observing and maintaining the customer service and service level agreements for all new and existing clients;

• Manage and solve medium and high business issues with involved parties such as IT, procurement, quality or regional/ global LCCs at management level;

• Consistent in time reporting of escalation potential to the relevant level of decision makers;

• Observing training and general backing up of IL Operations Specialist for existing client and/or new scope and new client operations;

• Quality audits related to general and client-specific quality programs, including GxP;

• Identification of opportunity areas to increase operational productivity, in collaboration with Ops Manager and LPO’s, using advanced analytical tools for Root Cause Analysis and issue discovery.

What we would like you to bring

• Bachelors University degree in International Business or related careers.

• Proven experience of any of the three transportation models (Air, Sea, Road). At least 2 years.

• Desirable Experience within the 4PL model and Operational Planning and Customer Service background.

• English skills advanced.
