Kuehne+Nagel in Bogotá is seeking a Logistics and Operations expert to lead Continuous Improvement programs and optimise global supply chains. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and over 5 years of experience in logistics, focusing on cost savings and optimisation initiatives.

You will drive projects that improve supply chain efficiency, manage escalations, and lead teams in developing strategic solutions across transportation modes.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in global logistics and supply chain optimisation.

Deploying and leading the CI (Continuous Improvement) service offering and owning the CI program for the customer, with a strong focus on global supply chain optimisation, transportation strategy, and cost & cash savings across KNIL customer’s end‑to‑end supply chain. Leading business case development, providing strategic status updates on the CI program to the Business Manager / customer, ensuring achievement of savings targets. Driving a structured approach to identification, validation, and implementation of optimisation opportunities, leveraging KNIL expertise and advanced knowledge of global logistics and transportation networks, while tailoring solutions to the customer’s specific business needs.

How you create impact

• Identification of customer’s supply chain inefficiencies and optimisation opportunities
• Driving high‑impact business cases focused on cost reduction, routing optimisation, and service improvement
• Monitoring optimisation project status, managing escalations, defining priorities, and aligning resources to ensure delivery
• Eliminating barriers to the implementation of savings and optimisation initiatives
• Developing deep end‑to‑end understanding of customer’s global supply chain network, including suppliers, routes, and modes
• Value stream mapping and logistics network analysis
• Alignment on savings targets, timelines, resources and implementation roadmap with customer and Business Manager
• Alignment on savings calculation methodology, tracking, and reporting with customer / Business Manager
• Organising savings tracker and visualisation in Tableau dashboard (e.g. customising IL CI standard templates, Corp CI Tracker)
• Leading regular internal/external governance meetings (e.g. QBR/MBR, CI reviews) with a consultative and advisory approach

What we would like you to bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Engineering, Supply Chain, or Finance
• Strong experience in global logistics and supply chain optimisation (preferred 5+ years)
• Proven expertise in multiple transportation modes, with strong focus on air and ocean freight operations, routing, and carrier management
• Demonstrated track record in delivering cost savings and optimisation initiatives in complex, international supply chains
• Proven experience in change management and/or project management in a cross‑regional or global environment
• Strong experience in supply chain cost optimisation, budgeting, and value stream mapping
• Fluent in English (written and verbal)
• Advanced Excel skills (Tableau or analytics tools is a plus)
