Gallagher is looking for a Team Supervisor in Bogotá, Colombia, where you'll lead a high-performing team and deliver tailored insurance solutions. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders and mentoring team members to ensure operational excellence and compliance.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in re/insurance, including 2 years in management. Proficiency in English and Spanish is required, and a Bachelor’s degree is essential. Experience with transactional systems and stakeholder management is also important.

• At least 5 years of re/insurance experience, including 2+ years in management.
• Proven experience managing and supervising employees, setting SMART objectives.
• Fluency in English and Spanish, Portuguese is desirable.

How You'll Make An Impact

• Lead with Excellence: Collaborate with the Client Service Manager to proactively review workflows, team mailboxes, and metric reports. Identify trends and implement solutions to improve efficiency and service delivery.
• Mentor and Develop Talent: Provide hands‑on support to team members, organize training sessions, and bridge skill gaps to foster professional growth.
• Resolve Complex Queries: Manage technical queries from clients, reinsurers, and internal teams, ensuring timely and satisfactory outcomes.
• Drive Operational Success: Allocate workloads, monitor team capacity, and align Associates’ skill sets with evolving business and client needs.
• Ensure Compliance: Authorize activities, review transactions, and uphold industry regulations, internal policies, and Gallagher Re best practices.
• Collaborate Globally: Liaise with Sales teams, clients, and stakeholders across Ipswich, Mumbai, Brazil, and other hubs to address challenges and deliver seamless client service.

About You

• Insurance Expertise: At least 5 years of re/insurance experience, including 2+ years in management, preferably within a servicing/operations team at a broker or re/insurer.
• Leadership Skills: Proven experience managing and supervising employees, setting SMART objectives, and driving team success.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English and Spanish is essential, with Portuguese being desirable but not mandatory.
• Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in any subject.
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with transactional broking systems, Gallagher Excellence Model (GEM), and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Stakeholder Management: Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, reinsurers, and global teams.
