Job summary

Gallagher is seeking a seasoned Business Intelligence Manager to lead a team of BI developers and to design, build, and optimize enterprise reporting solutions using SQL Server, Snowflake, and Azure Synapse.

You will partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into meaningful insights, drive governance, and mentor analysts, while applying AI-enabled analytics to improve reporting and productivity.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, BI, or related field.
10+ years of enterprise BI and reporting experience.
Advanced Power BI, SSRS, SQL, DAX, Power Query, and data modeling skills.
Experience with SQL Server, Snowflake, Azure Synapse, and modern data architectures.
Knowledge of CI/CD, source control, deployment automation, and governance.
Experience leading BI, analytics, reporting, or software development teams.
Understanding of AI-enabled technologies in analytics and reporting.
Insurance or risk management industry experience is valued.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a team of BI developers.
Design, build, and support enterprise reporting and BI solutions.
Develop and optimize SQL, DAX, Power Query, and semantic models.
Work with SQL Server, Snowflake, Azure Synapse, and data platforms.
Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and governance activities.
Manage production support, incident resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Partner with stakeholders to translate requirements into insights.
Leverage AI-enabled tools to improve reporting and productivity.
