CI&T is seeking a Principal Data Architect in Colombia to own the target architecture for a large-scale data platform modernization. You will work hybrid, design the lakehouse-to-warehouse model on Snowflake, and build the certified BI semantic layer while guiding the dev team through implementation and governance.

Fluent English is required, and experience with Fabric/OneLake is a plus. You will mentor engineers, drive architectural decisions, and ensure successful cutover readiness across

Formación

• Solid experience delivering enterprise data platform modernization.
• Experience with Snowflake layered raw/staging/curated models.
• Experience with Fabric/OneLake or comparable lakehouse platforms.
• CDC-based replication pipelines from relational sources.
• Governed BI semantic layers consumed by multiple tools.
• Strong data governance fundamentals: classification, masking, lineage.

Responsabilidades

• Own end-to-end target architecture for cloud data modernization.
• Maintain architecture decision records for transformation/CDC/load strategies.
• Design curated data layer and dimensional models for reporting.
• Develop a single certified BI semantic model used across tools.
• Collaborate hands-on inside the codebase with the dev team.
• Lead discovery with client architecture, security, and platform teams.
• Ensure design validation, baseline lock, and cutover readiness.
• Mentor the team on transformation patterns and data quality.
