CI&T is seeking a hands-on Principal Data Architect to own the target architecture for a large-scale data platform modernization. You will drive the end-to-end design, including CDC replication, lakehouse landing, and a curated data warehouse, while working hands-on with the development team.

You will design the governance model, BI semantic layer, and ensure cross‑platform interoperability with Fabric/OneLake and Snowflake.

Formación

• Solid experience in data architecture, including hands-on delivery on enterprise data platform modernization programs.
• Proven experience architecting cloud data platforms on Snowflake, with raw/staging/curated models and incremental transformation.
• Experience with Fabric/OneLake or comparable lakehouse platforms and cross‑platform interoperability.
• Experience architecting CDC-based replication pipelines from relational sources to cloud platforms.
• Experience designing governed, certified BI semantic layers (Power BI or equivalent).
• Fluent English (C1) for direct client engagement.

Responsabilidades

• Own end-to-end target architecture spanning CDC replication, lakehouse landing, and a layered cloud data warehouse on Snowflake.
• Define architecture decisions, validation gates, and evidence for client sign-off.
• Design the curated data layer and dimensional model, including runtime-calculated values and standard reporting attributes.
• Craft the single certified BI semantic model consumed by multiple reporting tools.
• Work hands-on inside the codebase with the development team through design and build.
• Lead technical discovery with client architecture, security, and platform teams.
• Mentor the team on transformation patterns and data-quality design.
