Slalom is seeking a Data Architect to design and deliver modern, scalable data platforms that enable analytics, AI, and Generative AI solutions.

You will partner with client stakeholders and engineering teams to guide architecture decisions, mentor engineers, and contribute to pre-sales efforts.

The role requires 8+ years in data engineering or architecture, strong cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP), and a COPNIA license for Colombia.

Responsabilidades

• Design cloud-native data architectures including data lakes, lakehouses, and data warehouses.
• Translate business objectives into scalable, secure data solutions.
• Lead architecture and technical design from discovery through implementation.
• Partner with engineering teams to deliver data platforms on AWS, Azure, GCP, Databricks, Snowflake.
• Design AI-ready data foundations for analytics, ML, and Generative AI workloads.
• Support pre-sales efforts with solution design and client conversations.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with Centers of Excellence to share best practices.
