CI&T is seeking a hands-on Principal Data Architect to own target architecture for a large-scale data platform modernization for a major US mortgage lender. You will drive CDC-based replication, lakehouse landing on Fabric/OneLake, and layered data warehouses with a certified BI semantic layer.

The role blends strategic decisions with hands-on design and build work, collaborating with client data and cloud teams to achieve governance, performance, and interoperability across platforms.

Formación

• Solid experience delivering enterprise data platform modernization.
• Snowflake-based layered models (raw/staging/curated) in cloud.
• CDC-based replication pipelines from relational sources.

Responsabilidades

• Own end-to-end target architecture across lakehouse and warehouse.
• Maintain architecture decision records and transformation strategy.
• Design the curated data layer and dimensional models for reporting.
• Define a single, certified BI semantic model used by multiple tools.
• Collaborate hands-on inside the codebase with the dev team.
• Lead discovery with client architecture, security, and platform teams.
• Ensure quality gates for architecture decisions and go-live readiness.
• Mentor the team on transformation patterns and data quality.
