Job summary

UNDP’s Volunteer Services Centre (VSC) seeks a Recruitment Associate to support the identification and processing of UN Volunteer assignments across regions. You will ensure compliance with recruitment policies, manage DOAs, advertise postings, and maintain accurate candidate data.

The role requires experience with recruitment processes, MS Office, and cloud-based ATS/CRM tools, collaborating with regional offices and field units to meet hiring needs.

Qualifications

• Secondary education with at least six years of relevant work experience, or a Bachelor’s degree in HR/Business/Public Administration with at least three years in recruitment.
• Experience using web-based recruitment systems and MS Office for daily tasks.
• Experience coordinating recruitment processes and maintaining candidate data.

Responsibilities

• Provide recruitment services in line with UNV policies and standards.
• Verify DOAs and advise on DOA design for host entities and field units.
• Advertise assignments and identify suitable UN Volunteer candidates across regions.
• Record actions and data in volunteer management systems and official databases.
• Prepare recruitment analytics and reports focusing on gender parity and workforce diversity.
• Coordinate with regional offices and outreach campaigns to meet demand.
