FedEx Medellín is seeking a Customs Agent to coordinate and obtain approvals for import/export and transshipments, ensuring timely compliance with customs regulations. The role involves preparing forms, interfacing with authorities, and keeping accurate documentation for air freight shipments.

The ideal candidate has a high school degree with 2+ years in international freight or 18 months as a Customs Agent, plus strong communication skills and English proficiency.

Formación

• High School Degree or equivalent required.
• 2+ years in international freight/cargo customs or 18 months as a Customs Agent.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in English preferred.
• Driver's license required.
• Computer literacy and general office skills.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and process customs documents for imports/exports and transshipments.
• Coordinate and obtain customs clearance approvals for shipments.
• Interface with customs officials and internal teams to ensure compliance.
• Communicate duties, taxes, and required information to customers.
• Maintain organized customs documentation and filing.
• Provide baggage and sorting support as needed at airport/ station.
