FedEx Express in Bogota, Colombia, is seeking a Customs Agent to perform import/export processing and obtain customs clearance for documents, parcels, and merchandise. You will work on baggage or air freight, ensuring timely, accurate handling at the station.

The role requires a High School degree, two years of international freight/cargo customs experience, familiarity with airport procedures, and Customs-specific English. A driver’s license and basic office IT skills are also needed.

Formación

• High School degree or equivalent.
• Two years of experience in international freight/cargo customs policies, procedures, and laws.
• Knowledge of airport and customs clearance procedures preferred.
• Personable with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and basic office/computer literacy.
• Customs-specific English is required.

Responsabilidades

• Process import/export and transshipments and obtain customs clearance approvals.
• Prepare forms and manifests (air waybills, invoices, declarations) for shipments.
• Ensure compliance with customs and tax regulations and FedEx policies.
• Coordinate with internal teams and customs officials; inform customers on duties/taxes.
• Maintain organized documentation and assist with station duties as needed.
